Does it work without internet?
Yes, completely. FinanceOS is a single HTML file that runs in your browser. After the initial license activation (requires internet once), it works 100% offline. Your data is stored locally on your device.
What happens to my data if I reinstall or change computers?
Use the built-in Backup feature to export your data as a JSON file before changing computers. When you set up on the new machine, use Restore to import everything back. For license transfers, contact us and we'll issue a new key within a few hours.
Can I use it on multiple devices?
Each license is for one device. If you need multiple devices or locations, contact us for group pricing — we offer discounts for 3+ licenses.
Is it compatible with my accountant's software?
FinanceOS exports professional Excel files (.xlsx) with all data organized in sheets — Revenue, Expenses, Payroll, Suppliers and Monthly Summary. Any accountant can work with these files directly.
Do I need to pay again for updates?
Standard includes 1 year of free updates. Professional includes 2 years. After that, updates are optional — your current version continues to work forever, you just won't get new features.
Which browser do I need?
Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge are recommended (any recent version). The app works on Windows, macOS and Linux. It is not designed for mobile browsers.
